Do you have an opportunity to dump the SPI flash chip (SOP8 marked as PN25F16)?

None, unless I desolder the SPI flash then connect it to an eeprom programmer then read the bin file. Seen the datasheet of the IC, entirely different with 25L1606 of some action camera. PN25F16 is a chip with an OTP memory I think.

I usually use my SOIC8/SOP8 test clip to get dumps without desoldering (if PCB design allows doing it).

But i don't have the test clip, it is not available here in my country, so i am used to desolder the IC and put it on my programmer, same as I am doing with those 93c46 type from speedometers of motorcycle and cars. Sometimes when it is still connected to the PCB and try reading their data, i get errors possibly because of some resistors or internal resistance of the MCU pins to where they are connected. Just my thought.

I've got mine from Aliexpress for $2.5 and it works just fine
