  • RTSP streaming to PC for Allwinner V3/V3s cams

RTSP streaming can be enabled with this great tool by Jonas Koeritz for Windows (tested with Win 10 64-bit):
    DOWNLOAD ACTIONCAM WINDOWS BINARY

    Usage:
    1. Connect to your cam with WiFi.
    2. Run 'actioncam rtsp 192.168.100.1' or use your cam's IP if it differs.
    3. Run VLC, go to Open Network Stream... and enter 'rtsp://127.0.0.1:8554' as a network URL.

This PC RTSP streaming method also works with Yi Discovery action camera. All you need to do is to change the IP address to 192.168.42.1.

I just tried this with my cam which I believe is Allwinner F60R, and it works. It has a HUGE delay, but it actually works.

Thank you guys. I think I will stick to the HDMI output. This RTSP solution is not usable for the use I intend to give to it. It is awesome anyway being able to have it though!
