Hello guys! I just bought an action camera, I did it on small street shop in Tenerife. I don't know which firmware it using. Is there any chance to make video quality better? Thanks for any help.

Seems to be iCatch Sunplus SPCA1628 chip and it usually comes wth a VGA sensor.

virtualpank86 the resolution setting can be "4K" but what is the real resolution in the MP4 (or MOV) video file?

Same problem here with one of my cams, was sold as 4K H9 but only records in 1080p and only IN . AVI
Now I want to know which cam it is so I can update the firmware to a good working one.

Mediainfo shows this technical detail. The 1080p looks fake, but more like 854x480 at best. Too bad the video codec is MJPEG

Thanks for the details. Very bad Ebay seller who sold me this 4k camera , as bad as the cam itself. So I think a firmware update will not do the trick getting better quality ?
