  • Elephone ELE Explorer BRICK

Hello, I have not found a certain place to publish.

I ask anyone who knows, I have an Elephone ELE Explorer (same as this https://www.gearbest.com/action-cameras/pp_265306.html)

Im brick trying to update the firmware that is on the website of the GearBest (https://www.gearbest.com/blog/downlo...-firmware-1341)
When you turn the camera on, it turns white and does nothing.
Can anyone guide me what I do?

Thank you and sorry for posting in the wrong place.

hello. welcome to the forums. did you make a backup copy of your original firmware by using a 'backup' script and this video tutorial ?
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QrhPxpFFMrc

Please share your backup file here. We can get some useful information from that backup file.

you may flash your camera's original firmware backup to your camera. But if you don't have that backup then you will need to flash another firmware that uses the OV4689 sensor. See the list of firmware on page 1 in post #8 in the big AllwinnerV3 thread. Look for firmware under this heading
"Firmware updates for V3 based action cams with Omnivision OV4689 sensor."
and at this time I don't know what LCD your camera has but choose a firmware that you think is compatible with your camera LCD screen ... maybe the firmware that has the same logo.

Read this post about flashing cameras (from post #10) and watch this tutorial video

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QrTxFjIiHvc for the procedure to flash firmware.

      Did not work...
Because the computer and PhoenixSuit does not recognize it, do you know where I can get the driver for it?

      1. i dont have backup copy of original firmware
      2. I looked in the link that you gave me the firmware compatible with my camera and it seems that I found, so I downloaded
      3. I tried to follow the tutorial of the video, however my computer sounds the sound of plugged device but is not identifying the camera in the device manager

      4. I will now read the post you sent me

I got my friend, thank you
For search purposes, I've used this firmware: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4t...RUamVSNmc/view

It would be nice if you added in the post that the startup logo is "Dare to be"

Elephone logo / ELƎ logo / Dare to be logo are all from the same camera maker, which is Elecam / Elephone
      Working...
