I have the Z25L version - what would you need to make a custom firmware for that version?

Good news for Z25L owners. Today I've recieved mine from a user. So, I'm going to modify Z25L firmware as well.

      Z26L 1.5.12 stock fw 1080p30:

The lenses used in Z25 and Z26 versions are the same (and I'm pretty satisfied with its quality). Note that fine details and white balance vary due to different settings in default firmwares.

I mean that there are quite severe halos in your example image. There are halos around all of the contrasty edges in the Z25 MOD1 1080p30 image.

Oh, I got it. I'll try to decrease sharpening in future releases.

Hi nutsey, can you make the file size limit to 4GB on the mod firmware?

It's hard to tell with the lighting conditions being so different, but the halos are less pronounced in that image. I can still see the halos though.

        Low light MOD fws test.

Z25 (the saturation level will be decreased later to suppress excessive color noise):

Maybe you could refocus the lens to get a sharper image.

Yup, i have strange issue: when i start recording i get a high mbps video~40mbps, and then movie is sliced at randomly picken time, and every next file has worse bitrate. Do You know any solution maybe?
              Regards

Sure. You should try a faster card or decrease the bitrate value.
