DBpower EX5000 firmwares????

HI all

I now have 4 of these cameras as they are cheap but for my purposes great cameras.. But I have noticed there are two firmwares in use.. Is there away to back them up so I can flash all with the same firmware or is a there a download location where I can download the latest and flash all of them with it?

Hi

There are 2 ways to save your stock firmware:
1. Disassembly and flash memory chip dump with a programming device.
2. Disassembly and connect to the UART RX/TX/GND test points (if any) at the main PCB. Then save your fw using console commands.

I am aware of that as you had mentioned this in another post but surely there is somewhere to download firmwares from like most other cams?

I would not try flashing any of these without having your stock fw backup.
