    Hello!!
Was it possible to unpack / pack the FW96663A firmware?
I try through bngui.jar, but I do not understand, the packed file is smaller by 1 mb than the original.
    Check for nothing.
I checked on my firmware FW96658A, yes the packed file is less than 3,3 -> 3,18, but was sewn on to the time and everything is ok.
    P.S.
    nutsey!!
    Something with a personal?

    1) Where is this parameter: the language code in the firmware update ?
    2) How to find in this firmware and in other firmware the version number and language code by default ?
Hi, can you please try to explain the problem a bit more detailed? Unfortunately I'm not 100% sure what you are trying to do
Do you want to know how to modify the settings through a firmware update binary?

      Yes
      There are three firmware:
      The first processor-based: NT96220:
      hhttp://solk.org.ua/as21/DVR_For_Dima.zip

I want to find the unpacked binary file:
      1) - where the system setup parameters are set in the firmware update at the first start, such as:
      - language
      - time
      - resolution
      ....
      2) - where in the code there is a link to the resource: the texts in the menu
      2) - where in the code are written the codes of control buttons
      3) - find in the code a parameter that is responsible for the brightness of the image when recording video

        The second processor-based: NT96658 (version No. 033):
        http://solk.org.ua/as21/firmware_33_0_10.rar
I want to find the unpacked binary file:
        1) - where the system setup parameters are set in the firmware update at the first start, such as:
        - language (probably a direct link to the offset in the code) or where the code links to the resource: the texts in the menu
        2) - found in the verification code for successful system boot by serial number

I want to find the unpacked binary file:

                  Tell me plz
How did you look at the firmware update by what decompiler?
                  I tried IDA 7.0 Mips32 - does not work
And what set-ups for the decompiler?
