Can someone answer a nub question. I just figured out how to flash firmware to a camera's memory chip. The firmware programming I copied off the camera and saved as a BIN file, is it the same format as the firmware BIN file I recieved from the manufacturer? Could I, say, flash a manufacturer's FW96660A.BIN file straight to the camera's memory chip? I'm suspecting that a LD96660A.BIN file is corrupting the FW96660A.BIN if it isn't the correct loader file for that version. Is that correct?

File for fw updating contains one or two partitions and you can find both in your flash memory dump. There are also loader and other sections can be found inside.
