QUESTION: Is there an action camera that can do reduced RAW timelapse?

    As an aside, it looks like git2p can stream RAW files of 20MB (+2MB photos) with MOD3 at 1sec which is pretty impressive.

    Actually I got that wrong. Camera takes photo writes to disk, waits (however long you've specified) and then takes another photo.

    I suppose the best solution is to find a dashcam based on something like Ambarella A7 + OV2710 or IMX322/3 hardware. It allows to save FulHD RAWs using script commands and shows pretty wide dynamic range.

    I've had a look and the Yi 4k and Git2p can only seem to do full sized raw plus a smaller JPEG.

    An alternative might be something like the Git1 (IMX323) that can do RAW at it's native resolution 1920x1080.
